"Secrecy is the freedom tyrants dream about." - Bill Moyers

My daughter, Stephanie, has this on the bumper of her car. A few months ago, I emailed it to President Obama. Secrecy is a trap into which even good people can fall.

When I heard this, I was floored. Also, the man himself, his persona, added to the weight of the words. Here's another, spoken at Coretta Scott King's funeral.

"We know now there were no weapons of mass destruction over there. But Coretta knew and we know that there are weapons of misdirection right down here. Millions without health insurance. Poverty abounds. For war billions more but no more for the poor!"

It seems that the Republican party now is probably 80% old, white males and 20% old, white females who live off of some of the males. Therefore, all we really need to do is wait for all of them to die.

Alan Grayson (D-FL-House) is my new hero. Talk about a straight shooter! There are two more politicians in the current congress that seem to be really decent people. They are Barney Frank (D-MA-House) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT-Senate). I wish we could clone these guys and get rid of all the 100% bought people who've certainly got enough money.
